We are thrilled to announce that Urban Pulse Mapping has signed its first municipal pilot partnership with the City of Austin Parks and Recreation Department. This marks a significant milestone in our mission to democratize urban forest data.

The pilot will cover approximately 10,000 trees across three central Austin districts, with community mappers collecting species, health, and dimensional data using our mobile app. Our AI pipeline will process submissions in real-time, delivering a live inventory dashboard to city planners.

Traditional tree inventories in Austin have cost the city upward of $500,000 and taken over a year to complete. Our approach aims to deliver comparable screening-grade data in 8 weeks at a fraction of the cost.

We are currently recruiting beta mappers in the Austin area. If you live in Austin and want to earn money while contributing to your city's climate resilience, join our waitlist today.
